Our annual vacation spent and what do we have to show for it? Well, an afternoon entertained in a gallery filled with wonderfully beautiful art pieces and a landscape pocked with amazingly sculpted artwork, that's what! Away from all of the thrilling rides and attractions offered by the numerous theme parks nearby lies another more tranquil and peacefully quiet park where museums take up most of the real estate. For a nominal fee Maria and I visited this small museum and viewed a splendor of artwork. The theme of the featured artist, Mira Lehr, seems to sound the clarion about what we stand to lose because of climate change. An issue reflecting the major concern of all of our credible environmental scientists. However this artist's engagement is limited, ending May 10th. But fortunately, there are permanent works displayed by numerous artists, just as worthy of our appreciative gaze. Click on the video to view a sampling of what is available to you. Or, visit the museum's website for more info. You won't regret it.

and our latest addition to 'Our Local Artists of Port St. Lucie'
Hi again Charles! Thank you for your interest in my books. I started writing about 10 years ago, simply as a hobby. I enjoy working with fiction because it allows me to let my imagination run wild. I have just finished the first draft of my sixth book, "Charlie's Game". After re-writing and editing, it should be ready for publication by December 1. Thank you for offering to include my work in you blog. Dana

Among the many hats worn by this gentleman the one which has resonated the most is his role as president of Port St. Lucie's most prominent club, the PSL Hispanic American Club, Inc. Only recently has this publication realized that his talent has extended to the canvas as well. He has created art expressing his unique perspective on life itself. From the serenity of a lone country path or glacial melt as it flows from the mountainous landscape in the background to the turbulence of an impending storm as waves crash in the forefront, his observations run the spectrum of natures beauty as well as as it's force.
In Memoriam
Daisy Aleman, artist
A member of The Spanish American Club, Inc. our discovery of her artistic creations came after she had passed away. These pieces stand out for the vibrant colors depicting scenes of exotic places. Even the layout of accessories tell of the happiness and piece of mind she must have experienced while pursuing her synchronicity with nature.
N.B.-This section is reserved for local PSL artists wishing to display their artwork. If you are interested please contact us. A picture of yourself accompanied by a short bio and your works would be appreciated.
